WHAT DOES ARTIST PROMOTIONAL USAGE MEAN?
Your press session images are created to be used.
Standard artist promotional usage covers use by you, your management, label, PR team, press and event promoters when promoting you as an artist.
That includes: your social channels, streaming profiles, press coverage, EPK, website, release promotion, gig listings, festival line-ups, posters, flyers and general artist publicity.
So if a festival uses your supplied press image on its website, social campaign, event artwork or venue advertising to promote your appearance, you don't suddenly need a new licence.
What isn't included?
Separate commercial licensing may be required where photography is being used as part of:
Paid advertising campaigns · Brand partnerships · Sponsorship campaigns · Commercial third-party advertising · Commissioned OOH / billboard campaigns · Merchandise or product use
If you're unsure, just ask. Usage can be agreed before the shoot or licensed later if an opportunity comes up.

The Artist Press Session includes 10 fully retouched final images.
After the shoot, you'll receive a proof gallery to choose your favourites. Your selected images will then be professionally colour graded and retouched before final delivery.
Additional finished images can be purchased if you'd like more from the session.
-
Absolutely. You're welcome to bring multiple looks.
With a one-hour session, we'll plan these beforehand so we can spend the shoot creating rather than deciding what to wear. The number of looks we can realistically shoot will depend on the setup and how involved each change is.

Studio hire is included in the £450 + VAT session fee.

Yes. Your management, label, PR team, press and event promoters can use the images when they're being used to promote you as an artist.

Commercial advertising campaigns, brand partnerships, sponsorship or other third-party commercial use may require separate licensing.
-
It depends on how the image is being used.
If a promoter uses your press image as part of normal promotion for an event you're appearing at, that's covered by your standard artist promotional usage.
If the photography is being used for a commissioned commercial advertising or OOH campaign, separate licensing may be required.
If you're unsure, just send over the proposed use and I'll confirm.

Campaign & Label Commissions
When the photography is part of something bigger.
For artists, labels, management and agencies commissioning photography around a release, campaign or wider creative direction.
These shoots are built around the project rather than an hourly session and can include creative development, location sourcing, studio production, multiple looks, lighting concepts and a larger final image set.
Suitable for:
Single & Album Campaigns · Label Press Campaigns · Tour Campaigns · Key Art · Advertising · OOH · Artwork · Brand Collaborations · Editorial
QUOTED PER PROJECT
Campaign pricing is based on the creative scope, shoot requirements, production, deliverables and intended usage.
THE APPROACH
Not just photographs. A visual direction.
The strongest artist photography doesn't feel like somebody turned up with a camera and found a nice wall.
Before the shoot we'll establish what you're releasing, where you're at visually and what the images actually need to do.
References, styling, location, lighting and overall direction can then be developed around that.
Sometimes that means stripping everything back.
Sometimes it means building something from scratch.
The aim isn't to make you look like another artist.
It's to make the images feel like you.
